Antenatal education tailored to your needs and preferences

Birth preferences discussions and planning

Practical guidance for labour and birth, including ways to support your body and mindset

On-call availability 24/7 for your home birth from 37 weeks 

Second midwife on-call and birth attendance for home birth

An opportunity to meet my second midwife during pregnancy (usually around 36 weeks)

Labour and home birth midwifery care

All home birth equipment including use of birth pool

Use of TENS machine

Use of Entonox

Immediate postnatal care following birth

Support with your first feed

Holistic, personalised postnatal care up to day 28 following birth

Postnatal visits in your home (9 appointments)

Days 1, 2, 3, 5 & 7, 

Twice in week 2 (usually days 10 & 14)

Once a week for weeks 3 & 4 (usually days 21 & 28) 

WhatsApp and telephone support in between postnatal appointments (Mon - Sat 08:30 - 18:30)

Support with feeding (breast, formula or mixed)

Guidance and support on what to expect in the early days

Newborn care advice and support (sleep, nappies, skin, baby behaviour, etc.)

Maternal recovery support including physical healing, rest, emotional wellbeing

Helping you settle into life as a new parent

Vitamin K (if desired)

NIPE screening (Newborn Infant Physical Examination)

Newborn Blood Spot Screening (Day 5 heel prick test)

A copy of your personalised maternity notes
